New Louis Vuitton x Rexhep Rexhepi LVRR-01 Chronographe à Sonnerie

We bring you the latest news on the launch of a new Louis Vuitton partnership, the first of five, at a fun and exciting event in Santa Barbara we just attended. Here's the first: Louis Vuitton x Rexhep Rexhepi LVRR-01 Chronographe à Sonnerie. high quality copy watches

Following the announcement of the Louis Vuitton Independent Creative Watch Award in early 2023, Louis Vuitton has begun to launch a series of timepieces in collaboration with well-known independent watchmakers. The first project is the LVRR-01 Chronographe à Sonnerie launched by Atelier Akrivia in collaboration with Louis Vuitton. Watch Vuitton.

Embodying the essence of both brands, the LVRR-01 is a double-sided chronograph with a striking complication - a true statement in the watch industry - a tourbillon newly developed by Atelier Akrivia and its founder Rexhep Rexhepi The movement is powered by a redesigned Louis Vuitton Tambour case.

The basic concept of the LVRR-01 is reflected in the logo on the sapphire dial. From a distance, it appears to be a traditional logo, but a closer look reveals that the logo is a combination of two brand names, with "LV" subtly blended into "AKRIVIA." This is the first time in the history of Louis Vuitton that its logo has been combined with that of another brand. luxury copy Watches

Louise cruises with Rexhep

The LVRR-01 seamlessly brings together Louis Vuitton and Atelier Akrivia, two brands that share the same interests despite being separated by years. Founded more than 150 years apart, the two brands share core values, particularly in their approach to craftsmanship, and their founders were both visionary craftsmen.

Louis Vuitton was born in 1821 in a small town not far from the Swiss border. As a teenager, he moved to Paris and became an apprentice to one of the famous luggage manufacturers of the time. Soon he became known as an expert craftsman of bags and luggage, winning clients like the Queen of France. In 1854, he founded his eponymous atelier, which became so successful that it eventually moved to larger premises in Asnières, where the Louis Vuitton boxmaking atelier still remains today.

As the saying goes, history never repeats, it rhymes. Rexhep Rexhepi left his native Kosovo for Geneva as a teenager and soon became an apprentice in a fine watchmaking studio at just 14 years old. In 2012 he founded his own brand, Atelier Akrivia, believing in the production of haute horlogerie in a great tradition.

A shared passion for fine watchmaking sparked a series of events that culminated in the creation of the LVRR-01, a discount replica watches born around the concept of the Louis Vuitton Independent Creative Watch Award.

A combination of historical complications

The LVRR-01 is a comprehensive reflection on the nature of time: a precision chronometer equipped with a tourbillon regulator that indicates the current time and is also an instrument for measuring the passage of time while marking the passage of time for the first time in the watchmaking industry. Time with self-sounding mechanism.

These complications are displayed via a clever double-sided display, symbolizing the collaborative development of the LVRR-01. The juxtaposition of a contemporary dial in colored sapphire crystal on the front and a traditional dial in white Grand Feu enamel on the back perfectly illustrates the identity of both brands.

These complications are testament to the history of Louis Vuitton and Rexhep Rexhepi. Atelier Akrivia's first timepiece, the AK-01, combined chronograph and tourbillon functions, while the first Louis Vuitton complication, the Tambour LV277, was a chronograph and Louis Vuitton's first haute horlogerie The complication is the tourbillon.

Pushing the boundaries of fine watchmaking

The LVRR-01 is equipped with a completely new movement developed entirely by Rexhep Rexhepi. In his unique aesthetic, the movement is very traditional, a quality reflected in the hand-finished decoration and beautifully shaped chronograph levers.

The unique double-sided dial of the LVRR-01 required an equally unusual movement design. Compared to traditional movements, the LVRR-01 movement is inverted, with the chronograph and strike mechanism on the front instead of the back. This allows the magnificent architecture and decoration to be appreciated on the wrist at any time.

The tinted sapphire dial showcases the fine machining of the components, each of which is hand-decorated using traditional techniques such as chamfering and black polishing.

The most eye-catching feature at six o'clock is the tourbillon, which rotates once every five minutes and was designed by Rexhep Rexhepi to show respect for the history of horology. Compared with the one-minute rotation of a traditional tourbillon, the five-minute rotation is in line with the spirit of historical chronometers. The tourbillon cage contains a balance wheel with double wide arms and eight inertia-regulating weights, inspired by the weights found in marine chronometers.

The decisive and unique aspect of this movement is the Chronographe à Sonnerie, an unprecedented complication integrated in this way in a replica mens watches. Although the combination of elapsed time measurement and striking mechanism has historical precedent in pocket watches, it is a true expression of contemporary watchmaking.

The start, stop and zero-reset functions of the chronograph are controlled by a push-piece at two o'clock. However, this chronograph also adds an audible reminder of the passage of time, emitting a beep every minute. The clear, melodious sound of the chime, produced by a black polished steel hammer striking a tempered steel gong, was developed by Atelier Akrivia and emits a single harmonious note to signal the passage of 60 seconds.

In addition to the tourbillon, integrating the two complications of chronograph and sonnerie requires ingenuity in engineering and execution, since these systems are supposed to work together and each requires sufficient energy to function effect.

Rexhep Rexhepi devised a simple two-barrel solution, one for the chronograph part of the movement and power source for the chronograph, and the other for the chimes, but with a twist.

While the standard approach is to separate the barrels and allow them to operate independently, Rexhep Rexhepi designed a structure in which the second barrel is connected to the gear train in a specific way.

Once the chronograph is started and the central movement is released by the hammer, the rotation of the second barrel is no longer blocked. Therefore, when the chronograph and strike mechanism are running, energy is supplied to the basic gears, ensuring that the complications have enough energy to operate properly without disturbing the movement.

The mechanical ballet responsible for telling the time can be seen through the sapphire dial. The self-sounding mechanism and the second barrel are connected to the secondary escapement with a jeweled pallet fork.

This escapement periodically releases the energy of the second barrel, ensuring that the self-sounding time is precise and regular.

Case legend

The platinum case continues Louis Vuitton's seamless fusion with Atelier Akrivia, perfectly matching Louis Vuitton's iconic Tambour and incorporating the stylistic cues of Rexhep Rexhepi, particularly the slim, classic case shape. The LVRR-01 reinterprets the Tambour's drum shape into a streamlined shape, characterized by a tall sloping bezel and elegantly sculpted lugs, referencing the style of mid-century gentleman's watches.

The crown and chronograph pushers both have a heptagonal shape, inspired by Louis Vuitton replica watches swiss, but are handcrafted in the Atelier Akrivia style. The edges of the crown and pushers are chamfered like the movement components and decorated by hand-hammering, exactly the same technique used on the Rexhep Rexhepi.

The case is made by Atelier Akrivia, with the entire process overseen by Jean-Pierre Hagmann, master casemaker in the casemaking workshop.

Drawing on decades of experience, Jean-Pierre Hagmann's expert eye ensures that the case is perfect in form and detail – the discreet “JHP” logo on the lower right lug is his personal stamp of quality.

A final understated detail hinting at a common cause is the hand-engraved “Louis Cruises with Rexhep” on the case back, commemorating this unique encounter in calligraphy.

the many faces of time

Rexhep Rexhepi and Louis Vuitton's respective distinctive aesthetics are clearly visible on both dials, yet coherently integrated into one.

The front dial is simple in style and richly decorated, very modern, reflecting the modern style of Louis Vuitton. The colored sapphire crystal disc features a gold-plated metal minute track, reminiscent of the Rexhep Rexhepi Chronomètre Contemporain (RRCC I & II).

The dial features six gold cubes filled with translucent fired enamel, a technique similar to stained glass known as "plique-à-jour." The cube pattern is a nod to the Spin Time jumping hour display, one of Louis Vuitton's patented complications. Meanwhile, gold elements on the dial subtly reflect the yellow stitching, a subtle but crucial attribute of Louis Vuitton leather goods.

In contrast, the back features an absolutely classic glossy white Grand Feu enamel that pays homage to traditional measuring instruments – it was designed by Rexhep Rexhepi and crafted by Nicolas Doublel, La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton's in-house enameler. The enamel dial draws on the style of 19th-century chronograph pocket watches, using enamel-printed dual scales to indicate the hours and minutes. But the eagle-eyed will notice that the enamel dial is designed in the spirit of Louis Vuitton's first watch from 1988.

Both brand names bisect the enamel dial horizontally, reflecting the collaborative nature of the watch in both style and substance. The white gold disc at the base of the dial was made by Atelier Akrivia, while the enamel was completed by the in-house enamel studio headed by Nicolas Doublel.

Unique luggage creates unique watches

The LVRR-01 is delivered in a unique Louis Vuitton heritage luggage case.

Created exclusively for the LVRR-01 replica watches for sale, each case is hand-painted with a pattern inspired by the chronograph markers on the enamel dial, as well as the “AKRILVIA” logo and each watch's individual serial number. As a finishing touch and as a tribute to the craftsmen responsible for the LVRR-01, the luggage reproduces the signatures of Rexhep Rexhepi, Jean-Pierre Hagmann and Nicolas Doublel.

The LVRR-01 comes with a Louis Vuitton natural calfskin leather strap that develops a delicate patina with use, and a unique platinum pin buckle crafted in the Atelier Jean-Pierre Hagmann with the "JHP" signature.
